Head-Up Scanning & Spatial IQ: Drills forcing constant head checks to identify open ice, read defender gap control, and make instant, high-IQ playmaking decisions. Precision Passing & Puck Management: Executing crisp, hard passes in stride and receiving pucks cleanly under pressure to maintain offensive momentum. Rapid-Release Shooting & Scoring Tactics: Working on changing shot angles, quick-release wristers off the pass, and driving high-danger scoring areas. MIKE ZIGOMANIS - NHL ALUMNI & STANLEY CUP CHAMPION
Mike Zigomanis brings elite, world-class credentials to the Anytime Hockey platform as a Stanley Cup Champion (Pittsburgh Penguins, 2009) and 13-year professional hockey veteran. A standout center in the OHL with the Kingston Frontenacs where he recorded 330 points and represented Team Canada at the World Junior Championships. Mike was selected 46th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes. Over a 13-season professional career spanning nearly 200 NHL games and over 500 AHL games with teams including the Carolina Hurricanes, Phoenix Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Toronto Maple Leafs / Marlies, Mike established himself as one of the game's premier faceoff specialists and penalty-killing playmakers. Since retiring, Mike has translated his elite athleticism into ultra endurance sports while dedicating himself to youth player development as the Coach of the U13 Vic Village Mustangs. His sessions are fast paced, informative and will give your hockey layer an advantage in his next game.
