Led by Coach Tac from TF Hockey, this session focuses on refining core skill mechanics, explosive puck control, and high-speed playmaking in tight areas. Expect high repetitions, immediate technical feedback, and a competitive environment built to develop confident, versatile players who can execute under pressure. Instructor: Coach Tac (TF Hockey) Target Focus: High-Speed Puck Handling, Edge Work, Quick-Release Shooting & Small-Area IQ What to Expect During the Session Explosive Edge Control & Agility: Dynamic footwork drills designed to improve lateral mobility, tight-turn acceleration, and seamless directional transitions. Puck Protection & Deceptive Handling: Learning how to protect the puck at high speed, use body positioning to seal off defenders, and execute quick deception moves. Rapid-Release Shooting Mechanics: Practicing quick-release wrist shots and catch-and-shoot scenarios to beat goalies from various angles in motion. Continuous movement to ensure zero wasted time on the ice. Program Policies & Terms Attendance & Non-Refundable Policy: Registration covers your confirmed session slot. Anytime Hockey Academy does not offer refunds, makeup sessions, or credits for missed sessions due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or team commitments. Instructor Lineup & Emergency Substitutions: While featured coaches are scheduled for specific dates, instructor appearances remain subject to professional obligations. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance or emergency, AH Academy reserves the right to supply a qualified, elite replacement coach to guarantee zero disruption to your player's development on the ice.
COACH TAC - TF HOCKEY
Coach Tac has over 14 years of competitive hockey experience and more than 5 years as a skills coach, Coach Tac brings a high-energy, development-focused approach to every session. He is currently an Assistant Coach with the 2016 AAA Markham Majors and 2012 AA Aurora Tigers, and also serves as Head Coach of the 2016 AAA/Elite Kingdemere spring team, working with players at a high level year-round. Coach Tac’s sessions are designed to push players, build confidence, and develop real game skills. He focuses on helping athletes improve their skating, puck control, and overall hockey IQ, while creating a positive and challenging environment where players can grow. What sets Coach Tac apart is his ability to connect with players and bring out their best, using his experience to guide them through both the highs and challenges of the game. His goal is simple — to help every player unlock their full potential and develop a strong foundation for long-term success. We are excited to have Coach Tac leading Anytime Hockey sessions, where players will gain confidence, improve their skills, and take their game to the next level.
